Stop Killing Cyclists Requiem Die-In London
London, UK, 19th Dec, 2013. Cycling activist Donnachadh McCarthy makes a speech as cyclists and their supporters hold a morning rush hour requiem and die in at Vauxhall Cross in remembrance of the pedestrians and cyclists who have died there and at similar junctions across London. The event was organised by campaigning group Stop Killing Cyclists. The protesters want safer traffic junctions for pedestrians and cyclists, better cycling infrastructure and an equivalent government spend on cycle safety to that found in The Netherlands. © Patricia Phillips
