28/01/2012, Haringey, London UK. Parents, teachers and students protest against plans to turn Haringey schools into sponsored academies. A march led by pupils of Downhills and Noel Park Schools set off from outside Downhills School through Wood Green and ended with speeches outside Haringey Civic Centre. Parents and teachers are critical of the plans, claiming that they amount to the forced privatisation of education.
