London, UK. 12th May, 2014. People gather outside the offices of the Department of Work and Pensions in Westminster to demand the re-instatement of the Independent Living Fund. The scheme, financed by the government, helped fund care packages for people with severe disabilities living in the community, rather than residential care. It has now closed to new applications and people already getting ILF funding will no longer get it after 2015.
