Ken Brereton gives a talk about the workings and history of the Markfield Beam steam engine, as The Markfield Beam Steam Engine Museum in Tottenham hosts a steampunk convivial. Fans and performers of the Steampunk genre gather in costume to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the commissioning of the engine. The engine, which is housed in its original Grade II listed Engine House in the former sewage treatment works for Tottenham, was restored by volunteers.
